Finding good friends can be a challenge. Sometimes we pick friends because they’re popular, or because they have something we want or like. We shouldn’t pick friends based on what they have on the outside, but rather what’s inside. A good friend is someone who helps you when you stumble, comforts you when you’re down and keeps you up when you’re happy. This isn’t to say that you won’t have disagreements. Your friend is a human, and they’ll make their fair share of mistakes, but that’s when it’s your turn to help and encourage them.
So next time you’re looking for a friend, go deeper than just the surface level. And if you’re not searching for friends, then make sure you’re being friendly. Not only do people like being around a good friend, being a good friend will positively affect you and all of your relationships.
