A lot of things happen in life. Sometimes those things are good, and, unfortunately, other times those things aren’t positive. When that happens, the person who experiences an unfortunate event might need some help, or for you to be compassionate. When you’re compassionate with someone, you feel with them and put yourself in their shoes. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean coddling them. If the person wants a level of space, yield that, because sometimes in a difficult situation, space is what would make us feel the best. Giving space shows them your care, and that you're willing to move on their time and when they're ready. So this month, choose to show compassion to others. Whether it be by a hug, or just a “I’m so sorry,” compassion can mend the broken heart of another.
