Energy is in almost everything we can do and that can come from thankfulness. Let's say our mood is low because we have had a bad day. If we realize the things we can and should be thankful for our mood or energy can be lifted. Usually when people are not happy they focus on that one thing that aggravated them for the day. But to boost your mood you have to be thankful. You can start by writing the things that make you happy. Or blocking the things that get you distracted. Use your energy to fuel your mind with thoughts that produce thanksgiving.
